2048 Released!


Hey everyone,

Just finished and published another project! This time, I decided to tackle a 2048 clone to refine some specific workflows in Godot.

Even with "simple" clones, there's always something to polish. For this one, my main goal was:

  • Refining Tween usage: Getting those bouncy animations just right.
  • Merge Mechanics: I was always curious on how i'd calculate when blocks should be merged and when its game over.

A cool personal milestone: I managed to build this entire project during my free time in just 3 days.

My last game took me about two months to finish, so seeing this jump in productivity is awesome.
